A word about Continuing Education on our Polar Adventure
We are working with experts to create a continuing education component for our trip. This will take some time to research and write and to be reviewed for RACE-approved CE credit.
The topic will be around ecosystem health and its impacts on the species we are visiting, plus lessons learned that may apply to those species we care for at home. Changing climates impact predators and prey species, parasite range and prevalence and disease. The loss of sea ice is a major threat to the Polar bear and as the apex predator in arctic ecosystems that loss will have a significant impact on the whole ecosystem.
We will post on the website more information about the CE program and the approved hours of credit once that is known.
