Trent Homec, MBA is a leader in acquisitions for VCA, evaluating and appraising practices for potential purchase. His expertise includes assessing practices for purchase including their potential profitability, operational strengths and areas in need of improvement, and in analyzing staff. He has unusual insight into the value of a practice to the purchaser — and how practitioners can position their practice for sale at the best possible price.
Trent is a son of a practicing veterinarian and raised in and around a practice. He has been a practice manager, a regional operations manager for VCA for more than 5 years, a regional VP and has been in charge of their acquisitions since 2014.
This talk will focus on what he looks at when assessing whether or not to purchase a practice, and how he appraises the practice’s purchase price.
